From Data to Dynamics: PDEs, Machine Learning, and Optimization in Climate Science

The workshop From Data to Dynamics: PDEs, Machine Learning, and Optimization in Climate Science addresses challenges at the interface between nonlinear partial differential equations, data-driven modeling, and applied climate science. Its goal is to improve understanding and prediction of the climate system by combining analytical insight with computational innovation.

The event will be held at the FBK Polo Umanistico, via Santa Croce 7 (Trento, Italy), from 13 to 15 October 2026.

It is sponsored by Centro Internazionale per la Ricerca Matematica (CIRM) and Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK), and has received additional funding from INdAM—GNAMPA (CUP: E53C24001950001).
